This application u/s 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for quashing charge sheet as well as entire criminal proceeding in Criminal Case No. 18271 of 2013, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B IPC, Police Station Kidwai Nagar, District Kanpur Nagar pending before CMM, Kanpur Nagar.

Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA and perused the record.

A perusal of the record shows that the matter is pending since 2012 in the court below. It appears that the applicant was sleeping over the matter without showing any sense of urgency. No plausible explanation has been given in this regard. Thus there is no justification to interfere in the matter. The application filed under Section 482 CrPC suffers from laches due to inordinate delay.

In view of the above, this application is dismissed on the ground of delay and laches on the part of the applicant.
