Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Suresh Singh, Additional Chief Standing Counsel for respondent nos. 1 to 4.

The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the following reliefs-

"To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners dated 6.6.2018 within stipulated time."

Taking into consideration the entire facts and circumstances of the case, we are of the view that interest of justice would be sub-served by issuing a direction to the third respondent to consider the cause of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. The petitioner has filed a detailed representation which is appended as Annexure-6 to the writ petition on which appropriate decision be taken expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of presentation of this order.

We make it clear that we have not expressed any opinion on merits of the case and the authority concern shall pass order independently, in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
