Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.

The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-

"i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide the case No.T60600636 (Rajendra Prasad Vs. Rajeev Kumar) under Section 35 of Revenue Code, 2006, Mauza Dharma Patti, Pargana Atrauli, Tehsil Budhanpur, District Azamgarh within stipulated and reasonable period."

It has been stated that a mutation case filed by the petitioner in the year 2016 has not been decided till date.

Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2, Naib Tehsildar, Budhanpur, District Azamgarh to endeavour to decide the mutation case of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
