Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State- respondents.

The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that although Lekhpal concerned was directed to furnish his report regarding the lots to be drawn consequent to a preliminary decree in a suit for partition in the year 2015, this report has not been submitted till date. Therefore, the suit has not been decided finally.

Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to ensure that the report of the Lekhpal is obtained positively within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him. The court concerned to ensure the suit itself is decided preferably within a period of three months.

Subject to the above, this writ petition stands disposed of.
