(PER : HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE K.M.THAKER) Learned advocates Mr. Goswami and Mr. Kapadia jointly submitted that parties have arrived at settlement outside the Court. The settlement is to be executed and implemented over a period of time and its execution is to be completed on or before 31.5.2019. Learned advocates jointly submitted that present proceedings may be adjourned to any date after 31.5.2019 since upon complete execution of settlement, the appellant would, on the next date, withdraw the proceedings in view of the settlement.

In the meanwhile, if the respondent deposits cheque for Rs.5 Lakhs within one week from today, then the Registry shall accept the said amount and deposit the same in fixed deposit scheme which should mature on 29.6.2019.

Likewise, if the respondent deposits further amount of Rs.14 Lakhs on or before 31.5.2019, then said amount may also be accepted and invested in fixed deposit scheme in similar manner as aforesaid.

The fixed deposits to be taken out in the name of Nazir of the Court.

The receipts of fixed deposit is to be retained by the Nazir of the Court.
