1 By this writ application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the applicants have prayed for the following reliefs:
"14 (A) This Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue appropriate writ, order or direction by directing the respondents (1) to absorb the petitioners in the temporary establishment of the Irrigation department of the State Government with effect from the date of completing 5 years service in the work charge establishment, instead of absorbing in the temporary establishment on 7.11.1998, as stated in the statement at AnnexureB (2) grant benefits of higher pay scale to the petitioners on the basis of absorbing them in the temporary establishment with effect from the date of completing 5 years service in the work charge establishment and grant the petitioners, all consequential benefits.
(B) pending admission hearing and final disposal of this petition, this Hon'ble Court be pleased to order / direct the respondents to absorb the petitioners in the temporary establishment of the Irrigation Department of the State Government with effect from the date of completing 5 years service in the work charge establishment and grant them the benefits of higher pay scale.

2 The respondents are directed to look into the matter and see to it that an appropriate decision is taken in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from today, keeping in mind the judgment and order pronounced by this Court dated 4th February, 2016 in the Special Civil Application No.10829 of 2003 and allied matters.
3 With the above, the writ application is disposed of. Direct service is permitted.
