1. Rule. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor waives service of rule on behalf of the respondent - State.

By way of present application, the applicant-convict has prayed for extension of parole leave which was granted by this Court vide order dated 28/04/2016 passed in Special Criminal Application No.2833 of 2016 on the ground of his own treatment. Now, he is seeking extension of parole leave on the ground of death of his uncle.

3. Considering the ground advanced by the convict for extension of parole leave and death certificate, the present Page 1 of 2 HC-NIC Page 1 of 2 Created On Fri May 06 03:54:07 IST 2016 R/CR.MA/10526/2016 ORDER application requires consideration. Hence, the present application is partly allowed. The period of parole leave, which was granted by this Court vide order dated 28/04/2016 passed in Special Criminal Application No.2833 of 2016, is extended for a further period of ten days on the same terms and conditions. The convict shall surrender to the Jail Authority after completion of the said temporary period, without fail.

4. Rule is made absolute to the aforesaid extent only. Direct service is permitted.
