1. The petitioners are the victims of the incident in question. It is his say that petitioner Nos. 2 and 3 have sustained as many as seven fractures over their bodies. The photographs of the injured along with medical case papers have been placed on record. Learned Advocate for the petitioners, Mr. Rao, has urged that despite such serious injuries, Sections 323 and 324 only are added, so far. He has urged that all the persons, who are arraigned as accused, belong to a particular community and the IO also belongs to the very particular community. Therefore, the investigation may not go on right track.

3. Having heard both the sides, while NOTICE is being issued, making the same returnable on 7TH JUNE, 2016, it is directed that the Superintendent of Police, Rajkot (Rural), shall oversee and monitor the investigation. Periodical report of such investigation shall be submitted before the Superior Officer by the concerned IO. Let the IO remain present with all the papers of investigation on the returnable date.
