Inside Sales Manager

Job Summary:

The key responsibilities are to oversee and support the Inside Sales Team, monitor sales metrics, manage the entire sales administration process and collaborate with various professionals and advocates.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
    • Manage the Inside Sales Team.
    • Set and track sales targets for the team.
    • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process.
    • Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines.
    • Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
    • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products.
    • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement.
    • Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met.
    • Build an open-communication environment for the team.
    • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.

Job Specifications

  • Qualification(s):
    • Any graduation.

    • Experience
      • Nature of Experience: Experience as an Inside Sales Manager / Team Leader.
      • Length of Experience: 3 – 5 years .
    • Skill Set & Personality Traits required:
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential Customers / Clients and Team members.
      • Persuasive and goal-oriented.
      • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
      • Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories.
      • Self-motivated and self-directed.
      • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
      • In-depth understanding of product and understanding working needs of Advocates.
      • Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client.
      • Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close.
      • Ability to drive a team, motivate / train / guide them to complete their assigned tasks.
      • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM experience preferred.
    • Cost to the company: 3 - 4.5 lakhs per annum.
      • Location: Chennai
        • Age Group: 24 – 30 years.
          • Additional information:
            • Preference will be given to those from legal or SAAS background.
            • Prior experience in handling a team will be an added advantage.
            • Preference will be given to those with experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales.
