Vodafone Idea raises ₹5400 crore from nearly 60 anchor investor

The telecom company allocated 491 crore shares to anchor investors at ₹11 per share. 

26% of the total shares allocated to anchor investors, have been purchased by US-based GQG Partners.

Fidelity Investments invested about ₹772. Troo Capital invested  ₹331 crore  and Australian Super invested  ₹130 crore.

16.2% of the total allocation, totaling ₹874 crore, went to anchor investors. Motilal Oswal Midcap Fund secured ₹500 crores among others

The telco aims to use ₹12,750 crore for expanding its network infrastructure by setting up new 4G and 5G sites and increasing the capacity of existing 4G sites.
