Seven districts in the state are currently under yellow alert.

- The arrival of the Tulam monsoon in Kerala has been reported by the Central Meteorological Department.  - The state may have extensive rain in the next days, according to the Central Meteorological Department.

Thiruvananthapuram

- Today's districts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, and Palakkad have been put on yellow alert.

- Northeasterly winds are getting stronger over South India and the Bay of Bengal as part of the Tulam season. - As a result, the state may experience extensive rain throughout the course of the next five days.  - The Meteorological Center reports that isolated areas may see rain along with thunder and lightning.  - Today, a yellow alert has been issued for seven districts.
