The fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections witnessed a 60.5% voter turnout with significant urban participation, 

53 million people voted with a 60.5% turnout, a slight decrease from 62.4% in 2019.

Mumbai had low voter turnout, while Baramulla in Jammu & Kashmir saw the highest turnout in decades.

Elections concluded in 24 of India's 36 states and UTs, with 114 seats remaining for the last two phases.

West Bengal had the highest turnout (75.9%), followed by Odisha (72.8%), while Maharashtra had a low of 54.3%.

Notable figures like Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar voted, but Mumbai’s turnout remained low.
