Sunita Williams Historic Space Mission Postponed

Sunita Williams' historic third space mission on Boeing Starliner was postponed just 90 minutes before launch due to a technical glitch.

Set for launch at Kennedy Space Center, the mission was halted by an issue with an oxygen relief valve, delaying the lift-off indefinitely.

Williams, poised to be the first woman on a maiden crewed shuttle mission, had to exit the spacecraft safely with co-astronaut Barry Wilmore.

A veteran of space, Williams has spent 322 days in orbit and holds records for spacewalks. This mission was to mark another historic first.

Despite the delay, Williams remains a symbol of inspiration, having contributed to the Starliner’s design and carrying her good luck charm.
