Delhi High Court Denied interim relief to 'Forest Essentials' against 'Baby Forest'.

Owner  of Forest Essentials, filed the suit to stop the use of 'BABY FOREST,' 'BABY FOREST–SOHAM OF AYURVEDA,' 'BABY ESSENTIALS,' and 'SAUNDARYA POTLI.'

Delhi High Court dismissed Forest Essentials' plea to restrain 'Baby Forest' from using the name as it had the word forest in it.

The defendant, Baby Forest, agreed not to use 'SAUNDARYA' and 'BABY ESSENTIALS' marks.

Forest Essentials' sales figures (₹15 crores) versus defendants' (₹2.26 crores) did not justify monopolising 'FOREST' or displacing 'BABY FOREST'

The court found the word 'Forest' to be generic and not monopolisable by Forest Essentials and rejected the plea.
