Delhi High Court Awards ₹3.5 Lakh  To Puma In Trademark Infringement Suit

 PUMA filed under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 seeking a decree against defendant Ashok Kumar Trading

No defence appeared, leading to an ex-parte injunction in favour of PUMA.

On inspection by a local commissioner 383 pairs of lowers/track pants and 64 stickers bearing the 'PUMA' mark was identified

 PUMA claimed actual litigation costs of ₹6.09 Lakhs. The court awarded ₹3.5 Lakhs as costs to PUMA.
