How To Surrender PAN Card

Do you have more than one PAN card? Is your company shutting down and you don’t know what to do with its PAN card? You’ve come to the right place! Keep going as we’ve laid it all out for you.

Aadhaar must be linked to PAN by 30 June 2023. Unless it is linked to Aadhaar by the 1 July 2023, PAN will become inoperative.

Every PAN Card has a 10-digit unique Permanent Account Number that allows the government to track qualifying taxpayers’ financial transactions. The PAN is important because it permits people to file their income tax returns and undertake high-value transactions. However, there are some circumstances in which persons may be required to surrender their PAN card. In this  post, we will explain how you can surrender your PAN card and why you would even need to do so.
