How to Renew RCMC Certificate Online

Any exporter who wishes to export from India must have an RCMC. Find out more about the renewal of the certificate here!

A Registration Cum Membership Certificate (RCMC) is a certificate issued by the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO). One of the various Export Promotion Councils (EPC) or Commodity Boards – primarily agencies and organisations that work towards promoting and developing export businesses and are authorised to do so by the Government of India. It’s a membership certificate issued for five years and signifies that the holder is registered with FIEO/the concerned EPC or commodity board.

Here are some popular EPCs:

  1. APEDA:  Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export

According to DGFT Trade Notice No 35/2021-22 dated 24.2.2022, exporters have made it mandatory to submit RCMC applications through this common digital RCMC portal. EPCES has also launched a digital e-RCMC portal. Through this portal, members can apply to renew RCMCs for EPCES.

Let us help you to walk you through the process of renewal:

  2. Those already registered with the DGFT portal can use the same user ID and password.
  3. The members need to register with the DGFT portal if they haven’t already done so.
  4. When applying for RCMC, you should have ready copies of relevant documents (APR or self-certified letter for proof of export turnover, valid LOA/LOP, etc.) since you will need to upload these documents.
  5. After making payment (online/offline), please email membership@epces.in or accounts@epces.in right away so the payments can be reconciled and adjusted.
