RCM License Obtaining Process

Do you want to learn the procedure to procure an RCM License? Here are step-by-step instructions to help you with the procedure.

The process to obtain RCM license can be intimidating initially, but it is relatively simple and typically takes less than 10 minutes. It also takes a couple of weeks to acquire your certificate in the mail. Follow this reference to know about RCM license ASAP!

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Go to fieo.org

  • Check the site of the FIEO
  • Choose the Membership button and select Obtain Membership, Renewal, and Endorsement.

Step 2: Login

  • The following screen will be displayed after pressing the “RCM license, Renewal, and Endorsement”
  • Fill in the details
  • Choose “Login Using” – Digital Signature Certificate.

Step 3: Status

  • Upon tapping the enter key, the display below would appear
  • Contact details for FIEO
  • Information about the applicant
  • To complete the form, select “RCM License”

Step 4: Form to be Filled

  • The following option will open after clicking “RCM License”
  • IEC Number Detail
    • IEC Number Specification IEC Number: The IEC numeral is robotically generated
    • Granting Authority: Kindly pick the authority that issues Mumbai DGFT
    • Date of Formation: Enter the Company starting date
    • Issued on: Enter the effective date according to IEC
  • Address of the registered/head office
    • Name of the firm, address, street, state, and city Pin no: Specifics are automatically generated according to IEC specifications; select each section and alter it to alter existing particulars
    • Contact information, e-mail address, fax number, and website: Specifics are automatically generated according to IEC specifications; to modify current details, click on each section and alter it.
  • Applicant Details
    • Fill in the applicant’s details of the Applicant, Designation, address details, and residence address.
    • Contact information, cellphone number, and e-mail address
    • Fill in the information such as HOD Name and HOD Type.
  • Details on the Branch/Factory
    • Select Factory or Branch by clicking on Branch/Factory.
    • After choosing the Branch/Factory alternative, enter the forename of the branch or factory and the address, including the street, city/state, and pin code.
    • If necessary, you can enter numerous Branch and Factory names.
    • Click the Save button.
  • Details of Directors/ Proprietor/Partners/Trustee/Karta/Members of the Society
    • Select Directors/Partners/Proprietor/Karta/Trustee/Members from the Type drop-down menu
    • Fill in the blank spaces for Name and Father’s Name
    • Fill in your residential address, main road, city/state, pin code, and mobile number
    • You can enter the identities of multiple Directors/Trustee/Proprietor/Partners /Karta/Members if needed
    • Click the Save button after filling out all of the forms
    • Specifics labeled with an asterisk (*) must be filled out.

Step 5: RCM License

  • The firm’s structure
    • Choose the firm’s structure
    • Choose an export category
    • Choose a membership category
    • Please include additional contact details
    • Fill in the blanks with your name and designation
    • Fill in your residential address, postal address, street, city, state, and pin code
    • Add your business number, contact details, mobile number, and address
    • Add more E-mail IDs: Use (‘,’) .
    • Select Default (YES/ NO).
    • Select the Department (Select the Department).
    • Upon completing the form, press “Add More.” You could add multiple specifics by clicking the “Add More” button.
  • Division Specifics
    • Choose “FIEO office where you’d like to register”
    • If you select “All Offices,” you will receive all the information

  • Product/Category
    • By clicking the icon below, select “Search Product.”
    • Using the Product Name or the ITC HS Code.
    • Begin with the entered text or anywhere in the world.
    • The device will immediately display the product information after you pick the browse product.
    • Choose the product and save the information.
    • By choosing various items, you can add multiple products.
    • Upon saving the product information, a collection of products/categories based on the selection appears.
  • FIEO Authorised Representative for FIEO
    • Fill in the FIEO-authorized agent’s name.
    • Enter the address details
    • Also, provide contact details
    • Save all the files by clicking the Save icon
    • You can change the specifics.
  • Additional Information
    • Enter all the details such as Total investment in the company (in lakhs)
    • (₹) Lakhs in plant and machinery funding
    • Enter the company information such as Pan No, Pan Issuing Authority, and Pan Date Of issue
    • Fill in the blanks for “Main Type of Business”
    • Enter the details of all other EPCs unless you already have them.
    • Fill in the specifics of the certification scheme and the number of employees
    • Choose the country where you are/plan to export 
    • Upon filling out all of the specifics, click the “Save & Proceed” button to proceed
    • Specifics marked with an asterisk (*) must be filled out.

Step 6: Payment Option

  • Once you save, the payment status screen will appear.
  • Upon tapping the PROCEED button, the exporter enables payment via the following options:
    1. Make payment with a Credit Card
    2. Make payment with a Debit Card
    3. Paying the Fee with a Debit Card and an ATM PIN
    4. Use Online Banking to make the payment.
  • Payout will be completed once the fee is paid using the above payment system.

Step 7: Documents Must Be Uploaded

  • Following the payout, the next step is to upload the documents. The document entries are as follows:
  • Authority Letter (printed on official letterhead, duly stamped, endorsed by director/authorised person, and bank certified)
  • Upon uploading the files, click on the submit button to complete the submission.

Step 8: Payment Receipt Specifications

  • Once you’ve uploaded all of your documents, tap on Payment Receipt Specifics.
  • Choose a payment type  from Membership Payment/Endorsement Payment/Contingency Payment/Membership Category Change Payment/Duplicate
  • Once you’ve chosen the type, press on Show Details
  • The payment receipt will be displayed upon tapping on Show Specifics.

Step 9: GST Details

  • Select “Add GST Details”
  • The screen below should have seemed after you click on the GST details.
  • The IEC Number and Name will be showcased instantly
  • Check the “Copy location from postal address” box
  • Check the “Copy address from Registered Address” box
  • Enter the specifics with your GST Number, address, street, city, and state.
  • Upon completing the form, press the Submit button
  • The FIEO RCM License Registration procedure is now completed, and FIEO will initiate a certificate upon receiving your request
  • Once the license is authorized, it must also be enrolled on the DGFT website.

Conclusion

Exporters must send returns of their exports quarterly in a particular format. Changes in location and director specifics are feasible here. However, the exporter must request a similar one within a month of the transformation.
