Types of Membership for RCMC Enrollment Under FIEO:-
The FTA (Foreign Trade Policy) of the Indian government, Articles and Memorandum of FIEO association, regulates various laws and regulations about the membership of FIEO.
As per the Foreign Trader Policy, the person (exporter) requires to obtain the RCMC Registration Cum Membership Certificate to get the advantages given to all exporters under this strategy. What are the Eligibility Criteria for RCMC Enrollment?
While applying for availing the RCMC Certificate under FEIO, the candidate should meet the following criteria:
• Exporter or Merchandiser (Merchant)
The candidate has to ensure that the executed business is the business of imports and exports. This is one of the main requirements in India while setting up the export business. Moreover, the candidate has to ensure that they have made an application for the code of import-export (IEC) from the concerned officials. DGFT(Director General of Foreign Trade) is the higher authority for IEC.
• Declaration Of The Focal Line Of Business
The exporter or merchant has to tell about their main business. For instance, if the main business is regarding tea and coffee, then the appropriate consent from the board of coffee and tea promotion should be received. However, if the products are not encompassed by any board of promotion or other ginger officials, then the FIEO will be responsible for providing such export promotion.
• Consent From the Board Of The FIEO
The candidate has to ensure that they get appropriate consent from the respective board or FIEO officials. If there is no particular board for the particular product, FIEO will provide you with consent. The FIEO should provide its authorization for the same.
Procedure for FIEO Enrollment
- An exporter who needs an RCMC Certificate must claim their main business line in the application made to the concerned board or council to identify that main business Line.
- If your main line product is not secured by any council or board or any officials, RCMC is then required to get it from the FIEO Officials.
- Also, if there must be a multi-item occurrence of exporters not listed with any EPC, where the main product is still to be settled, the exporter requires to get RCMC from FIEO, Federation of Indian Exporters Organization
Documents Required to Obtain RCMC/FIEO
The exporter who needs an RCMC Certificate should provide their application in the best format as given in the enrollment appendices and can become an EPC member.
To become an active member, the following documentation must be submitted along with the application.
- Application for Enrollment –cum- Membership, furnishing the industry line evidence.
- A self-attested manuscript of the IEC number (Importer and Exporter Code).
- Candidate’s Bank Statement
- SSI/IEM certificate, where the candidate is in the manufacturing corporation.
- Statement relating to the export and import yielded during the previous Financial Year.
- A manuscript of Memorandum and Article of Association in trial companies, and where cooperation companies are applicants, cooperation action must be fulfilled.
RCMC Certificate
As per FTP, Foreign Trade policy, an exporter is a needle to avail of an RCMC certification for various profits under this scheme. For enrollment bases, FIEO has been anticipated by the authorities as an Export Promotion Council.
Validity Of RCMC/FIEO
The RCMC certificate is valid from the 1st of April of the year if licensing and will be reasonable for up to five years.
RCMC Enrollment Under Export Promotion Council
There are 9 commodities boards and 26 Export Promotion Councils in India. These community boards and EPCs are accountable for handout RCMC.
