OpenAI co-founder Ilya Sutskever launches Safe Superintelligence

The company is called Safe Superintelligence and is described as an American firm with offices in Palo Alto and Tel Aviv

Sutskever left Microsoft-backed OpenAI in May after playing a key role in CEO Sam Altman's dramatic firing and rehiring last November.

Sutskever with Daniel Levy and Cue co-founder and ex-Apple AI lead Daniel Gross function as co-founders of Safe Superintelligence.

The company is focused on creating a safe AI environment instead of dominating the AI boom.
