Google Pixel 9's Tensor G4 Shows Lower Scores Than G3

Pixel 9, expected in October, appears on Geekbench with Tensor G4, showing lower scores than Tensor G3.

Listed on June 14, Pixel 9 features Android 14 and 8GB RAM. It scored 1,653 in single-core and 3,313 in multi-core tests.

Codenamed "Tokay," the Tensor G4 has an octa-core CPU: 1 core at 3.10GHz, 3 at 2.60GHz, and 4 at 1.95GHz, vs. Tensor G3’s nine cores.

Pixel 9’s AnTuTu score is 1,071,616, higher than Tensor G3's 900,000. Geekbench scores are lower, indicating early-stage testing.

Pixel 9 series is still in development. Benchmark tests may be on a dummy unit, so these initial scores are preliminary.
