What is Nirudyoga Bruthi Scheme?

The function of every modern democratic society is to secure for its citizens, a decent standard of living, jobs, and services. In line with this objective of governance, and to provide a fiscal remittance to unemployed, the Telangana government has launched an unemployment allowance scheme last year, in 2019. This scheme is called TS Nirudyoga Bruthi Scheme. It aims to provide an unemployment allowance to more than ten lac of its workers. This beneficial scheme provides an amount of ₹3016 to unemployed graduates in the states.

What the TS Nirudyoga Bruthi Scheme aims to achieve?

The unemployed young people can be a huge liability on the state – in terms of the cost incurred on their education, the income foregone that they could’ve earned by being employed, the economic value foregone of their labor and intelligence, and the societal and mental costs of unemployment. To ameliorate these damaging effects of the problem of educated unemployed – the TS Nirudyoga Bruthi Scheme would entail a routine payment of ₹3016 to its youth between the ages of 22 to 35 years.

By equipping its young people with a definitive amount, the government envisages that the young people would engage in learning new skills, a new craft, vocational training or use the amount in setting up their own small scale employment. As jobs become increasingly competitive, it is only innovation and creativity that would drive the economic future of those living in the 21st century.

With this subsistence allowance, young people can get the motivation to utilize the state’s monetary aid towards the fulfillment of their aspirations and bridging gaps in their learning, to finally become employable.
