Pahani / Adangal

The Tahsildar issues a legal document related to the land called Adangal or a Pahani. Pahani or Adangal contains all the information about the area.

What are the contents of Pahani/Adangal?

  • The land owner’s name.
  • Khata number and extent of the land
  • Total Land under the Pahani
  • All the land revenue under Pahani
  • Land Cultivation resources
  • Details of survey number and Hissa of the land
  • The land’s nature of procession and its boundaries
  • Process and details of how was the ownership of the property acquired.
  • The classification of the soil and its’ content
  • Details about the Public or the Government rights on the land.
  • Any Liability of the Owner on the Land.

How to search for online Pahani/Adangal

  • Every property, landowner, or Citizen of the state of Telangana who wants to know and check the details of Pahani & ROR-1B has to Visit the Official Website of “Maa Bhoomi Telangana land records.”
  • After opening the homepage of Revenue Department of Telangana, search for the tab  “Know Your Land Status” or you can click on the link provided
  • Once the connection is open, it will display a new cost with multiple options. The user has to click on the “Pahani & ROR-1B” option.
  • When the tab is opened, the user now has to provide the required details such as District, Division, Mandal, and Village Name, which can be selected from the dropdown menu and then has to enter the Khata Number/Survey which can also be selected from the dropdown menu and then click on search.
  • If the user is unsure about the above pieces of information, he/she can enter Buyer Name/ Seller Name/Mutation Date, etc. and then click on the search.
  • When all the information is provided, the user has to click on the “get details” option.

Record of Right (ROR 1B)

The document that contains all the ownership details of the land or property is known as the record of right (ROR 1B). ROR 1B is considered as one of the most vital documents related to the land property. It is the responsibility of the office of tehsildar to maintain all the documents separately for each village. The ROR contains details about the name of the Khatedar, the survey number. Father’s designation of the landowner, classification details of the land revenue, extent owned by the khatedar.
