If the name of the accreditation body that is there on the ISO certificate is not on the list of accreditation bodies for that country then the ISO certificate is invalid. 3) The link for the website of the accreditation body gives on this page. After going to the webpage of the accreditation body, a search can be made for the certification body which has granted the certificate. If the name of the certification body does not exist on the website of the accreditation body, it implies that such a certification body is not accredited, making the certificate invalid. 4) If the name of the certification body is there on the website, it means that such a certification body is accredited. In order to further check the validity of the certificate, it can be checked on the accreditation body website as some of these websites maintain public records. If the accreditation body does not keep public records, they can be mailed in order to find out the validity of the ISO certificate. 5) If there is no online registry nor does the accreditation board reply, the mail can be forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com. By the end of this process, one can determine the validity of their own ISO certificate or the ISO certificate of the service provider whom they seek to hire.
