The TN state government has initiated a monumental project of linking phone numbers with the street vendors’ Aadhaar card and obtained a Rs 10,000 loan as working capital under the Prime Minister’s Street Vendors Self Reliant Scheme.

The Supreme Court has upheld the constitutional validity of Aadhaar in its judgement. However, it is mandatory to link your PAN with Aadhaar, for filing income tax return (ITR) and even while applying for new PAN card. If there are spelling errors and other mistakes in your Aadhaar card details, you may be not be able to link the two.
